Lital Lavi is an Israeli contemporary artist whose practice explores visual language through a range of media. Her work reflects an interest in material, form, and the relationship between personal experience and broader cultural contexts.
Since her army experience in 'Garin Nahal', Lital Lavi left her hometown Be'er Sheva to explore Israel and travel abroad. In her studies at Hamidrasha School of Art she discovered her love for art focuses on drawing. Lavi’s immaculate technique developed a lot through her final year in Beit Berl where she spent most of the time in the school’s studios and delve into the subject of femininity. The drawings were infused by porn ads and reflect on the Lavi’s thoughts on the feminine figure, as a woman of her time
