In my work, I focus on the body while questioning its essence. I ponder how I appear from within, whether my soul has a shape and color, and where it resides in times of vulnerability. I present personal interpretations of the concepts of body and sexuality, asserting them through abstract, soft, and loaded expressions in personal, cultural, and gender-related topics through abstract, tender, and loaded expressions. The work initially began as delicate and subtle drawings, which gradually evolved into a tangible, materialized body, thick and lustrous with oil colors. Subsequently, I drew on the painted objects surface, subtracting material and engraving, aiming to capture experiences and personal inquiries arising from the visual encounter with the physical-mental body. The surface functions as a skin of images, a covering that conceals, blurs, and accentuates encounters between male and female memories, fullness and emptiness. It explores a poetic sense of merged and lost bodies - they will never be tangible and clear, as they exist in the tension between their concealed existence and their pronounced manifestation in the world.
