Robel Temesgen (b. 1987, Ethiopia) is an Ethiopian contemporary artist whose practice spans painting, drawing, installation, and research-based work. His work explores spirituality, memory, folklore, landscape, and systems of belief, often drawing on Ethiopian cultural traditions and vernacular knowledge. Temesgen is particularly known for projects that investigate sacred and imagined spaces, using art as a way to examine how communities construct meaning, identity, and relationships to place.
