This new body of work continues the artist's exploration of “La viè de Noutchi.”

Aboudia graduated from Centre Technique des Arts Appliqués in Bingerville. In 2011, his work was extensively broadcasted by the international press for his testimony of the Battle of Abidjan. This cosmopolitan artist constantly moves between worlds and cultures. His work draws his strength from his experiences, revealing the energy driven by the youth and the activity flow, common to every megalopolises.

Aboudia’s work has been exhibited in numerous collections and institutions worldwide. Since 2011, several solo exhibitions were dedicated to him throughout Europe and the United States. In 2012, for its opening, Galerie Cécile Fakhoury-Abidjan gathered both his and Frédéric Bruly Bouabré’s artwork in its inaugural exhibition Aujourd’hui je travaille avec mon petit-fils Aboudia. In 2014, Aboudia’s work was exhibited at Fondation Total as part of Dakar Biennale OFF Programme and at 1:54 Contemporary Art Fair in London and New York. This same year, Galerie Cécile Fakhoury presented his second solo show, Nouchi City in Abidjan, Ivory Coast. In 2013, Aboudia’s work was presented in the exhibition In all Cases, a Collection selection at the Nevada Museum of Art in Reno and in 2014, in Sphères #7 at Galleria Continua, Les Moulins, France. His work was also shown in London at Saatchi Gallery in the exhibition Pangaea: New Art From Africa and Latina America’’ in 2014 and in the second edition Pangaea II: New Art From Africa and Latina America in 2015.
