Gresham Tapiwa Nyaude (b. 1988, Harare, Zimbabwe) is a Zimbabwean contemporary artist known for expressive, highly gestural paintings that explore identity, urban life, politics, spirituality, and social tension. Drawing from everyday experience in Harare, Nyaude often combines distorted figures, animals, symbols, and text in psychologically charged compositions. His work reflects on the pressures of contemporary life while using humor, ambiguity, and raw painterly energy to address broader questions of power, survival, and belonging.
