In whichever form it may come, exchange is one of the most inescapable aspects of human survival. In the ideal world today for us to get something, we are expected to give them in return.
What is given or taken has become a global discussion in social corridors. I have taken this as a case study on human behavior surrounding giving.
Here in this artwork, I’m exploring what exchange may mean to different parties regardless of race, status, or class. Whether it’s in the form of commodities, knowledge, or information, exchange is playing a big part in our relationships across the world. The big question is about how, why, and what we exchange. This artwork speaks to various questions on the value for what we give or take from whom.
