Dennis Muraguri (b. 1980, Kenya) is a Kenyan contemporary artist based in Nairobi. Working across printmaking, painting, sculpture, and installation, his practice draws closely on the visual culture of the city, particularly public transport, signage, street graphics, and urban architecture. Muraguri is especially known for works inspired by Nairobi’s matatu culture, using bold graphic language to explore mobility, popular culture, identity, and the rhythms of everyday urban life.
