EST is a pseudonymous artist associated with the formative Tel Aviv street-art scene of the late 2000s, when a generation of artists began moving freely between graffiti, public intervention, and gallery-based practice.

Working through a deliberately graphic visual language, EST brings the immediacy and energy of the street into self-contained artworks. Bold outlines, layered surfaces, recurring symbols, and an instinctive approach to composition reflect the influence of graffiti culture, in which identity is constructed through marks, repetition, and the adoption of an artistic alias.

In 2009, EST participated in Make Room at START Gallery, an exhibition presented by ST-ART that brought the artist together with AME72, Klone, Know Hope, Zero Cents, and Joy van Erven. Several of these artists subsequently became internationally recognized figures within contemporary urban art. EST’s work therefore offers collectors a document of an important early moment in the development of Israel’s street-art movement, as it began crossing from the city’s walls into exhibitions and private collections.
