Michal Rovner (b. 1957, Tel Aviv) is an Israeli contemporary artist known for photography, video, projection, and large-scale installation. Her practice explores human movement, displacement, memory, borders, and collective identity, often using repeated or abstracted figures that appear suspended between individuality and mass experience. Rovner represented Israel at the Venice Biennale in 2003, and her work has been exhibited internationally in major museums and institutions.
