Greg Haberny is an American multidisciplinary artist and filmmaker whose provocative collages, sculptures, and immersive installations examine the myths and contradictions of contemporary American culture. Drawing from advertising, cinema, political propaganda, consumer packaging, and popular iconography, he transforms familiar imagery into energetic compositions that are simultaneously humorous, nostalgic, and unsettling.

Destruction and reconstruction are central to Haberny’s practice. He cuts, burns, layers, and repurposes existing materials an approach he describes as “upcycling” allowing damaged or discarded objects to acquire new histories. Beneath their raw, rebellious surfaces, his works explore personal and collective memory, consumerism, violence, and the instability of the American Dream.

Haberny has exhibited internationally across the United States, Europe, and Japan. His work was included in Banksy’s celebrated Dismaland project in 2015, and he has presented institutional exhibitions at the Middlebury College Museum of Art and the McColl Center. His work is also held in prominent private collections, including that of Beth Rudin DeWoody.
