Genti Korini (b. 1979) is an Albanian multidisciplinary artist based in Tirana. Working across painting, sculpture, photography, and moving image, he examines the complicated relationship between modernist aesthetics and the political history of post-communist Albania.

Korini frequently draws upon architecture, furniture, monuments, and systems of design forms once associated with progress and ideological authority. By reconstructing them through abstraction, theatrical staging, and digital imagery, he reveals how visual culture can shape collective memory and national identity. Works such as Furniture Project and Monument to the Present occupy an intriguing space between functional objects and historical artifacts, questioning how the promises of modernity survive after the political systems that created them have disappeared.

Korini studied at the University of Art and Design in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, and earned his MFA from the University of Arts in Tirana. He also co-founded Bazament, an influential independent art space in Tirana. In 2026, Korini was selected to represent Albania at the 61st Venice Biennale with the three-channel moving-image installation A Place in the Sun.
