Hybrid connections and a banal set were the two main motifs that guided Golani in her work.
The work gives us a sense of familiarity but at the same time alienates us. This entire oeuvre inspects the boundaries of abstract and figurative, of physicality opposed to flatness, exploring the theatrical aspect existing between the image and the world it is in.
